Selling our investment property we’d owned for 9 years needed to get us maximum return in line with the market. I had 1 RE company ring back and launch into a 15-minute barrage of how wonderful they were. Sickening. Then David Jones rang. They say there are no guarantees in real estate, or are there?
Gold Coast Real Estate Agents gave me a genuine no lock-in guarantee, which meant I wasn’t trapped into anything. I stayed because they delivered, not because I had to. From day one, David Jones promised he’d personally handle the entire sale, and he did. Every open home, every inspection, the valuation, the pest checks, he was there.
He even handled every piece of paperwork himself. They gave me a sale price target during the listing meeting and said if they didn’t achieve it, I didn’t have to pay commission. They achieved it. No stress, no surprises, just straight-up results. Honestly, I was blown away. I’ve never experienced this level of service in real estate.

I don’t think anyone else can match what these guys do.

We have known David for a lot of years because he has sold houses in our street. I asked him to give us an idea if the renovation we were going to start would cause us to over capitalize. It didn’t, and at that time we had no intention to sell. David didn’t nag us to sell but was happy to give unsolicited advice with no expectation of a return. Fast forward a few years and we wanted to sell to move closer to family. There was only on person we went to, David. His freely given advice on our renovations had translated into a house that was ready for the market. David researched the market and we came up with a figure. When our house sold, that figure was exceeded much to our great delight. Along the way, David was there to answer every question, he also advised us when negotiating our next house purchase. David is a down to earth man that you can deal with, not like many other lazy Agents who just want the commission, David truly wants to achieve the best result in the market that can be achieved. Don’t waste your time with the others choose this team to look after your sale. We would have lost 15% of our sale price if we chose elsewhere..

David sold our apartment in just over a week for 10% more than every local ‘expert’ agent said it was worth. David’s point was that local agents are both experienced AND constrained – they do know the local market, but they ONLY know the local market and that constrains their thinking, and it appears he was right.

David’s original appraisal was exactly where the market was, and his advice on presenting and market was sound. The best advice – which he backed up with data – was to put an asking price on it, not to list it with “price on application” or “contact agent”. We listed the property at a lower price than he recommended – our choice – and in retrospection that was a risk, but the market is strong and it landed exactly where David said it would due to him taking ownership of the negotiation process and balancing between the competing buyers.

The other piece that filled us with confidence was that it was David who was present at every one of our open for inspections, he was also there for every meeting with the buyer and at handover. We got the agent every single time and not a subordinate.

The definition of madness is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result – so if you want a result out of the ordinary, go with an agent out of the ordinary.

I would highly recommend Gold Coast Real Estate Agents.

When you think of selling or buying a house it comes to mind that it is a long and difficult process but if you want to avoid that come to this real-estate agency I have dealt with specifically David. Which He is the most down to earth agent there is out there, if any concerns or queries about the house he is your go to man to answer. With the current selling of my house I’ve spoken to many agents that are only in the business for the money and don’t care too much about the family who is purchasing the house or just don’t answer your queries. David is not one of those agents he is an amazing agent that has an amazing passion and desire to make sure you purchase the correct home. With all honesty he deserves way more stars than i am allowed to give.

Exceptional Agent, definitely knows what he is doing and does it in a friendly professional manner. Lincoln Eade was recommended to us for the sale of our Superfund property. From the very first phone call we knew that Lincoln would do the best to sell our property, you could tell he was very genuine and passionate about his work. He fully explained how the market was doing and what his process and fees were upfront. Our property was an NRAS property and Lincoln ensured that he had all the knowledge needed for any potential buyer. He ensured there was full disclosure for any buyer. His honesty and integrity was excellent. We had an issue just prior to placing our property on the market and Lincoln went out of his way to ensure that the issue was fixed. He went above and beyond to help us sell the property. Lincoln sent us updates on the progress of the property very regularly and had regular open homes. As this was an NRAS property and was tenanted Lincoln advised that the market was more for owner occupiers and we would do best to take the property off the market until closer to the property being vacated. We took his advice and it certainly paid off. Within a couple of days being on the market Lincoln had received an offer. Lincolns knowledge of the market certainly worked in our favour. We cannot thank Lincoln enough for all that he did in selling our property. We would recommend him very highly as a Real Estate Agent to any person wanting to sell, buy or rent. His knowledge of the market, communication with the client and professionalism is next to none. His honesty, integrity and friendliness is why we trusted in him to sell our property.

Sometimes too good is true! Lincoln acted as agent when we were purchasing a home recently. I have known David Jones and I have used his services a number of times over the last 10-15 years. He is a person of integrity and will always provide true and honest feedback. I noticed that the difference between David and other agents are the traits I have mentioned above, integrity and honesty and he will never sell you a lie just to get your listing. He is a transparent agent as he always keeps you informed of what’s happening with your listing both the good and not so good which is very rare in the real-estate game these days.
